Lauren Kershner is a singer-songwriter/pianist from Portland, OR. A graceful blend of innocence and angst, Lauren’s music is inspired by fellow piano girls: Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, and Vanessa Carlton. Winner of several song-writing awards, including Best Song for “Piano Girl” — the title track for her upcoming debut album.
The Groovebirds are a retro-pop/americana act currently based in Portland, Oregon. They began their musical journey as a rhythm section/duo (Rod Coleman & Tracy J.) in 2013. They released their “Singles” CD, and embarked on a promotional tour through Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and California in 2015, and subsequently released “Looking In From The Outside,” in 2016. The Groovebirds have been featured on local and regional radio programs (including the Portland Metro Records “Fire Mondays” local artists show), and added to internet radio rotations in Australia and the UK. The band is currently recording new material for their next CD, and continuing to perform live as a duo and/or trio in the Pacific Northwest.
Camille Rose is a musical mermaid, telling stories plucked from her bone marrow in her current home of Portland, OR. Equal turns poignant and silly, Camille’s music is reminiscent of Regina Spektor, Kimya Dawson, and Brandi Carlile. She and her Celestial Ukulele serenade audiences near and far with a blend of original songs and unique covers.
