Runaway Productions presents

The Chicharones were formed at the South by Southwest Festival, when Sleep and Josh Martinez were just two ambitious guys trying to make it big. On the verge of their own solo careers, the two artists combined forces, and in the following decade, toured the world, sold over a 100,000 albums, and solidified their place as one of the best live shows in underground hip hop. They’ve licensed songs to NBA, MTV, ESPN, The Movies and multiple TV shows. Over time, the Chicharones have also become adults. After three years in the studio, they have created a living ode to the trials and tribulations of their 20s and the party that just won’t die.

Bad Habitat: Intent on making intelligent, yet high energy music, Bad Habitat has developed an aggressive, progressive sound that incorporates real life lyricism mixed with over the top braggadocio and an original flavor of beats (primarily provided in-house by members Flawless and Matt Murdock). Drawing influence from multiple genres, ranging from punk and classic rock to early hip hop, indie funk and 80′s pop, Bad Habitat has created a hybrid of styles rolled into an easily accessible sound that would feel just as natural blasting from a frat party as it would rocking a mosh pit!

Unlikely Heroes is Hip-Hop/Punk Rock band from San Francisco, Ca. This eclectic group is synthesizing Hip-Hop and Punk with beats and melody that are fresh, exciting, and long waited for. Boasting with high energy, venue rocking jams, they also find balance with spacey, vibe-y anthems to create a well-rounded experience and depth in their art form. These Heroes truly cater to their “more than meets the eye” appeal. Aesthetically, they are a diverse group with a range of cultural and musical backgrounds. Sonically, they are insane Hip-Rockers that can cater to any crowd or venue without losing their Star Power in translation.
They are set to release their debut EP in Q3 of 2016.
