The Macks The Macks are a young 4-piece garage rock and roll band from Portland, OR. The Macks play fast, The Macks play loud, and The Macks will get you moving one way or another. Featuring vocalist Sam Fulwiler, guitarist Ben Windheim, drummer Joe Windheim, and bassist Bailey Sauls, the band offers kinetic, passionate, and impossible-to-predict live shows that appeal to everyone from punks to blues enthusiasts. The music ranges from sinister to sarcastic, playing off of the angsty vocals and the rowdy blues guitar. Anything is on the table at a show, including but not limited to: stage dives, public displays of affection, youthful exuberance, partial nudity, and whomping solos. The Macks play frequently in Portland, Eugene, and Corvallis, and have developed supportive and dedicated followings in all three cities, taking an active role in each music scene. The band boasts a DIY ethic while maintain quality, producing all music, videos, merchandise, and art to a studio standard themselves, as well as building many of their own shows, whether it be a benefit show for the Portland homeless community or house shows supporting touring artists.
Hungry Skinny hustles. That’s why the San Francisco rock and roll band is so entertaining. After putting out a handful of EP’s, the band recently released their debut self-titled album on vinyl with Light Rail Studios. Hungry Skinny regularly tours the Western United States and they never stop moving, on or off the stage. Despite a diet of gas-station food and a nonexistent sleep schedule, the band puts the business of being entertainers on center stage. Odds are that Hungry Skinny will be in your town soon. They’ll be the one hustling to supply their own style of high-flying rock and roll. Get to the club, watch them play, and admire the hustle.
AKA Faceless, a duo of many guises, is from Portland/Central OR and Nashville, TN. Trevor Martell (age 23) and Jason Allenby (age 1F) capture many styles within a Rock N Roll outfit, influenced from Pop, Folk, Punk, Blues, Hip Hop, and all things song-writing. Live, the band is dynamic, dance-able, loud, and energetic when not quietly and intimately in your face.
Trevor and Jason met in high school seven years ago and have since remained together. Including previous lineups, the two have toured 8 times, having performed in 19 States clocking in just over 400 shows.
Most recently in December 2016, Faceless, was written and recorded in under 2 weeks, captured with 3 microphones in a living room with vaulted ceilings – hardly a professional studio. MASQ plans to both double the number of states reached, and release two more albums by 2018.
