MESS (Daniel Rossi) spent his early years riffling through his dads deep record collection, listening to Frank Zappa, Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, YES and more. These formative years listening to music with improvisation and complexity was the base to which Daniel started to find interest in Jazz. Checking out the roots and finding inspiration from the old, while finding equal inspiration from cats of the modern time, he began to focus his musical sound. After attending University of North Texas, he moved to Portland, OR where he began to find his true voice on the instrument, and experimented with the roots of his musical life and his skills as a drummer, composer, and guitarist.
