Blending and layering hints of modern Alt-Pop and 80’s nostalgia, Lavoy is Alternative’s answer to Ellie Goulding. Since their polished synth-laden take on dance party rhetoric hit the airwaves in early 2014, the charismatic collective have brought new meaning to the term ‘entertainment’, while the unassuming audience finds themselves persuaded into letting the movement take over and soon realize they’ve given way to the alluring sound. Founded on and fueled by the principles of quality dance tracks and pure elation the 5-piece displays while performing, the alt pop visionaries that make up Lavoy are ascending beyond the forest of new industry talent, with a confidence and fervor than most seem to muster in a life time.
Lavoy has shared the stage with Andy Grammer, Portugal The Man, Group Love, Motion City Soundtrack and Cold War Kids
Cloudlines is an indie-pop duo based out of Portland, OR. Its two members, Beach and Emily, met in 2016 when they were sat next to each other at work. A combination of boring day jobs and dreary Portland weather drove them to find a creative outlet. Cloudlines released their first single in May of 2018 and have been enjoying playing live shows and continuing to release music as often as possible.
A native of the Spokane, WA music scene, Branden Cate recently relocated back to the area after living in Seattle for several years, as a member of the band Barcelona and touring member of Andrew Belle’s band.
A synthesizer and sound design enthusiast, Cate pairs a soulful voice reminiscent of 60s crooners with lyrics of broken hearts and love lost. A wash of pianos and electronic pads complemented on bass guitar by brother Jackson Cate round out to create something truly unique.
