Mars FM began as a midnight to 3 am radio show on KDUR, a college radio station located in Durango, Colorado. In a state of delirium, radio hosts Zack and Zoe decided to form a band.
Now based in Portland, Mars FM is a psychedelic, folk rock trio comprised of Zack Bauer [vocals, guitar, pedal steel], Zoe Larsen [vocals, bass, harmonium] and Eli Wheeler [drums]. Their sound can be personified as a cowboy wearing a Pixies t-shirt riding a tie-dye horse.
Zack and Zoe’s music draws from years spent exploring and connecting with open deserts, old growth forests and the sea. Think warm, spring reverb guitar, honey dipped harmonies, and cosmic overdrive that feels down to Earth, yet bumps knuckles with the vast unknown.

Part Pop-Punk, part Dream-Pop, Counterfeit Kubrick is the indie solo project from Portland-based musician Ethan Conrad. Ethan played guitar in Portland metal bands Queen Chief and SAOLA but yearned to create music that was less on the heavy side of the musical spectrum. Enter Counterfeit Kubrick, the half-serious, half-baked ramblings of a disillusioned youth.
Counterfeit Kubrick’s debut album, Look Both Ways was released in spring 2020, with a large part of the writing and recording process taking place in his bedroom during a global pandemic and local quarantine, and Conrad wrote, performed, recorded, and produced every aspect of Look Both Ways, other than a guest vocal feature from fellow SAOLA guitarist, Mia Pinzelik on ‘New Dawn’.
Look Both Ways was largely inspired by Ethan’s favorite indie rock bands such as Modern Baseball, Sorority Noise, Jets to Brazil, M83, and Beach House with twists and hints of his metal background intertwined into a lush soundscape of dreamy-pop-punk.

Hest is the solo project of Oliver Tawney. He was born and raised in Portland and his first album Trailer was released this January. His other projects include San Luis Obispo based band, Autopipe. He’s young, he’s dumb and he’s a whole lot of fun so come see him live!!
