Eventually, In high school and college, he joined a band called Lauryl. After releasing 2 albums with the group pre-2009, he went on to release a solo album under the name Andrew Tolman and The Dirty Gentlemen. Today, he lives in Portland, Oregon and goes by Tolly, a nickname borrowed from his father’s time in the MLB. Tolly is the full realization of non-binary, non-hetero-conforming, queer musical expression living outside of genre lines of rock, disco, and pop elements.

Kitty Crimes

Orkis is the synth-pop, dark wave project of electronic composer and performer, Joseph Lanker with co producer, JT Lindsey. Joseph started young as a contemporary pianist and quickly evolved his work to an electronic, dance-forward fashion shortly after. Orkis invites melancholy tonality and subject matter combatted with sexy pop dance vibes, and atmospheric vocal melodies. Joseph and JT have been collaborating together since 2009 with JT’s multi-instrumental background in indie-rock and psychedelic pop. Orkis also welcomes a strong feminine but hard sound throughout featuring vocals by Cassey Hoelting and raw gritty bass with Zak Nelson of ‘Champagne Perfume’. The first and second singles ‘Pivot’ and ‘Shadows off the album are out now with videos directed and produced by Natasha and performed by Joseph. ‘
