sunbaby means to be playful and to try something new:
with songs from the heart and supported by friends Liam Hathaway and Delaney “Rocket” Carter, Sunny returns to the stage to give something hot & cute; this time through country rock with lots of opportunities for singalongs.
Violet Creatura
Violet Creatura is one component of a larger multimedia project. It is rooted in mystery, tuning into the frequencies of dark and deep natural lands, ethereal wind, mischievous forest spirits, and strange theater of other eras. It’s sound is dreamy, mesmerizing, kooky and spooky. It’s elements are voice, guitar, loops, and more as it evolves.

As a singer and songwriter, Dustin Silva is a rare combination of technical virtuosity and raw, emotional intensity. A gifted guitarist and the youngest to attend Musicians Institute in Los Angeles at the age of fourteen, it took decades to get his songwriting and singing up to the level of his guitar playing. His songs have been described as a sonic cross between Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley and Radiohead. Heavy themes make up the songs. His unique perspective is informed by a chronic struggle with illness (diabetes, depression, OCD) and his mothers 20 year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. His music is both cathartic and personal with lyrics that use evocative imagery to interrogate the nature of suffering and the journey back into to health. Dustin will spend years to complete a single song and it is easy to hear why. His long anticipated, debut solo EP will be out April, 2023 produced by his closest friend, Jason Ardiles. As a sideman, Dustin has recently contributed guitar/vocals on The Soft Hills album, Viva Chi Vede, which received an 8.4 rating from Paste Magazine. He lives in Portland, OR.
Ghost Piss regrets to have to pull out of this show. Stay tuned to catch them next time

GHOST PISS is a diy music producer and singer song writer new to Portland via Brooklyn, here to remind you that emotions are beautiful, pink is punk, and life is fun. Torn between pop and experimental worlds, I only feel right when I incorporate elements of both. When not playing music, I work as a botanist and resource advisor on wild fires in the Oregon woods.
