Anna is a Portland and soon to be Los Angeles Jazz and Contemporary Arranger, Vocalist and Vocal Teacher with heavy influences from Neo-Soul, Rap, Gospel and Hard Rock. Her reinterpretation and reharmonization of well known jazz standards keeps audiences on their toes. She has kept active in the Portland State University Jazz program, hosting saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman in a remote jazz masterclass and was a student panelist in a music department webinar focusing on de-centering Eurocentric curriculum in Music Education. By spring of 2022, she will be relocating to Los Angeles to pursue music full time. With a variety of musical interests and a passion for activism and wellness, Anna never hesitates to explore musical genres and keeps an open mind.
Credited as a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Portland-based artist, Thythy, is a songstress at heart. With a passion for wordplay and soulful tunes, Thythy captures the themes of love, heartbreak, and redemption through her contemplative lyrics, witty punchlines, and charismatic production. The songbird has an eclectic discography with music that bends genres including, but not limited to, r&b, hip-hop, and rock. Known best for her 2018 debut EP ‘Lover Girl’, Thythy has released two albums since, titled, ‘Bad Dreams’ and ‘Untethered’, garnering over 600,000 streams on Spotify alone.
