Dreamsurfer 2.0
Working under a variety of different aliases since 2010, Dylan M. Howe has primarily occupied the fringes of murky electronic drones, tape saturated industrial dub, and shimmering digital dub. Dreamsurfer 2.0 is the revamp of Howe’s first project, Dreamsurfer. On 2011’s “New Cursive”, Howe used a wash of guitars, barely there percussion, cut and paste tape techniques and a post-punk ethos to make lofi pop music. Dreamsurfer 2.0 is the revamp of this project and incorporates the many techniques and tendencies that Howe has explored throughout the past 12 years of experimental music production and performance while still remaining a pop project at its core.
